Crust Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ cups almond flour

  • ½ cup shredded coconut (unsweetened)

  • ¼ cup coconut oil (melted)

  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup

  • Pinch of sea salt

Filling Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt (full-fat, plain, and hormone-free)

  • ½ cup fresh key lime juice (about 8-10 key limes)

  • 1 tablespoon key lime zest (from the key limes)

  • 1 can (14 ounces) coconut cream (chilled in the fridge overnight)

  • ¼ cup honey or maple syrup (adjust to your desired sweetness)

  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Topping Ingredients:

  • 1 cup coconut milk (from a can, chilled in the fridge overnight)

  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup

  • ½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Optional garnish:

- Sliced key limes

- Shredded coconut



  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. In a medium-sized bowl, combine all the crust ingredients. Mix well until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs and sticks together when pressed with your fingers.

  3. Press the crust mixture into a 9-inch pie dish, covering the bottom and sides evenly. Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden. Remove from the oven and let it cool completely.

  4. While the crust is cooling, prepare the filling. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the Greek yogurt, key lime juice, key lime zest, honey/maple syrup, and vanilla extract until well combined.

  5. Open the chilled can of coconut cream, carefully scoop out the thick cream from the top of the can (reserve the liquid for other uses). Add the coconut cream to the yogurt mixture and whisk again until smooth and creamy.

  6. Pour the filling into the cooled crust and spread it evenly with a spatula. Refrigerate the pie for at least 2-3 hours, or until the filling sets.

  7. For the topping, take the chilled coconut milk can from the fridge. Open it and carefully scoop out the thick coconut cream from the top into a mixing bowl. Add honey/maple syrup and vanilla extract. Using an electric mixer, whip the coconut cream until fluffy and creamy.

  8. Spread the whipped coconut cream on top of the chilled pie.

  9. Garnish the pie with sliced key limes and shredded coconut, if desired.

  10. Slice and serve the Key Lime Pie chilled. Enjoy this delicious and hormone-balancing dessert!
